these needlefelted balls are 1"-1.25" wide. they're a wonderfully dense but squishy condensed ball of 100% wool roving with about a half teaspoon of catnip in the middle. these balls are not indestructible, but the longest fiber they have is about 4" long. so if you have a little shredder, they would be okay to ingest a little bit of the ball, just make sure they don't try to eat the whole thing! (same goes for any cat toy, tbh). if it gets a bit frizzy, you can roll it around in your hands to help mat the wool back down.
